An erotic, science fiction tale of betrayal and rebirth (sneak peek).
"In the instant before he lifted her face to his strange puckered mouth she saw them. Stripes of brown and orange all over his body, and a dozen suction caps lined his chest..."
Allandra has always dreamed of life on other planets. But this mission she'll find more than she ever dreamed of. From the mind of Valjeanne Jeffers, author of Immortal, comes an erotic tale that's out of this world.

When it comes to Science Fiction, I prefer more science and technology -- really 'outer space', other planets and not too monstrous aliens. I really don't care to read too much (detailed) erotica in my SF. I read this short story on break at work and it was okay... a good premise, but not enough science and technology to suit me. The characters and story could have been expanded on more and the aliens could have been less disgusting. The premise as suggested by the title was never really evidenced, but given the brevity of the story the author did a good job as such. The way it ended seemed to me that Ms. Jeffers may have plans to continue the story; and if she does, I hope she gets someone with technical expertise to advise her on the aspects of space and technology. Also, better editing and proofing -- I found a few issues with that. Could do with less vulgarity, although only one word was used that I really do not care for. All in all an okay short story.

Colony A Space Opera edition by Valjeanne Jeffers Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This story never seemed to pick up pace to me. I don't mind it starting off slowly, but it never held my attention.
Horrible. The author is anti-human. Aliens wise and caring, humans power hungry, racist, and dumb. A consistent theam is white men lust after black women.
nite reading only and it was free thats the best part need more books like this one thanks for the good book
A good story but needs some editing and cleanup
I look forward to reading the finished product
Keep up the work
I was skeptical because I don't normally read anything in or close to the "erotica" genre but I thoroughly enjoyed this story & it's not "graphic". The writing style is phenomenal & I can't wait to continue reading this series.
Science Fiction & romance blended into an interesting story - odd but true. This short story pulls it off. Worth checking out if the rare combination might be interest. It is not professionally edited...but I did not that kept me from enjoying the tale.
This is the sexiest Speculative Fiction that I've read, and Ms. Jeffers took me *there* without my even realizing it. applause
I can imagine the world as described in this wonderful story, since we allow corporations to dictate the use of our natural resources. Life really could come to this. I can also imagine those with wealth isolating themselves in safety and comfort while the poor have to try to survive.
I can also imagine another species saving us from ourselves -- I've often wondered if they might be here already.
In just a few very descriptive pages, I was immersed in the world Ms. Jeffers created and when the tale was done, I wanted more.
I encourage you to read this. You can thank me later.
